Luna & Dad Smokehouse didn't start with a business plan. It started with family, a smoker, and a snack our neighbors couldn't stop talking about.
IT STARTED WITH A CHRISTMAS GIFT.
What began as a homemade smoked snack mix for our neighbors at Christmas quickly became something more.
We started bringing it to family gatherings, pool parties and the office — and people kept asking the same question:
“How can I buy this?”
That question planted the seed for Luna & Dad Smokehouse.
But this was never going to be just about snacks.
Luna has always loved being in the kitchen with Dad — helping cook, create and learn. So we decided to build something together: a father-daughter business rooted in family, entrepreneurship and creating memories along the way.
Today, we're building Luna & Dad Smokehouse right here in Buford, Georgia — one lesson, one memory, and one batch at a time.
Our craft

Luna & Dad Smokehouse takes a familiar snack and gives it our own smokehouse twist. Our Original Smokehouse mix is seasoned, slow-smoked in small batches and made with the bold, savory flavor that started this journey.
We're still growing, learning and perfecting our craft — but our approach is simple: take our time, care about every batch and make something we're proud to share with another family.
Where it all started.
Three trays.
One smoker.
No shortcuts.
This is where our smokehouse story began — with our recteq pellet smoker, three aluminum trays, and a father and daughter learning the craft together.
Every batch gets the same attention. The same time. The same care. That's not a marketing line — that's just how we make it.
Those early batches taught us something we're carrying forward as Luna & Dad grows: take your time, pay attention to the details, and never lose the care that started it all.

From the very beginning, Luna has been right there — not watching from the sidelines, but actually doing the work. Loading the trays. Sliding them into the smoker. Asking why the smoke curls the way it does.
